Congratulations to the winner of our August Photo of the Month competition, Mathew Davies, with his photograph titled “Leaving at sunset”.
Each month we encourage our berth holders, visitors and photographers of any standard to enter their photographs into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.
As an annual berth holder at Milford Marina, Mathew was making the most of the weather and enjoying a voyage down the Milford Haven Waterway. Whilst on his cruise back to access the lock, one of Pembrokeshire’s stunning sunsets was in full swing which created the perfect backdrop to the tanker Mount Kibo and Svitzer tug.
Mathew’s 8 year old daughter Freya was delighted to see the tug in action!
September’s competition is officially open for entries and although this season is coming to an end, we’d love to reminisce about the summertime moments you've experienced and see any photos you’ve taken over the last few months.
