Congratulations to the winner of our February Photo of the Month competition, Kirk McCaffer, with his photograph titled “Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning”.
Each month we encourage our berth holders, visitors and photographers of any standard to enter their photographs into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.
The inspiration for Kirk’s photo came to him when he was onboard the HMS Express, berthed at Milford Fish Docks. Kirk and the crew were up early that morning ready to sail the ship and Kirk couldn’t help but notice the beautiful sunrise reflecting on the Milford Marina waters, the photo opportunity was too good to miss!
March’s competition is now up and running and as we have entered the month of spring, we’d love to see some spring sunshine within your entries, whether you’re voyaging down the Milford Haven Waterway or have spotted any wildlife that may have started to return, all are welcome!
