Congratulations to our October Photo of the Month competition winner, Luke Evans, with his photo titled “Waterway sunset”, congratulations Luke!  

Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of any standard to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself. 

Luke shared with us that his winning shot was taken after a session out fishing on his charter boat, Odyssey where he spent the day out on the Celtic Deep.  

He said that it was one of those rare days with plenty of fish, some phenomenal displays from dolphins and a great bunch of customers to spend the day with.  

The perfect sunset on the way home was a great reminder of why Luke loves Milford Haven! Luke told us that the weather can sometimes drive him nuts, but when you get a view like that after a long and busy day at sea it makes it all worthwhile and reminds him why he loves his job as a Skipper!
