The winner of our August Photo of the Month competition is Davey Barrett with his photo titled “Down the dock bottom”, congratulations Davey!
When we asked Davey about his winning photo, Davey revealed that the inspiration behind the photo was to show people who have never had the chance to see what's it’s like down the bottom of the Dry Dock, and that his photo also shows the sheer size of the harbour tugs you see on the Milford Haven Waterway. Davey is a Marina Chargehand at Milford Marina and has a wealth of knowledge and experience that he is always happy to share with the boating community.
Every month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition, with entries capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, the boating community, and Milford Marina itself.
September’s competition is now open for entries, and with the summer boating season drawing to a close, we’d love to see your sunny shots of the Milford Haven Waterway!
