Congratulations to our final Photo of the Month competition winner of 2024, Davey Barrett with his stunning photo titled “Hauling time at Dawn”.

We caught up with Davey and asked him about the inspiration behind his winning photo, and he shared that while he was heading home from a night shift at Milford Marina (where he works as a Marina Chargehand), Davey could see it was going to be a lovely sunrise, so he stopped on the Rath to capture the winning photo.

Davey also added that the fisherman tribute is a highly photographed statue and stands proud on the Rath as a tribute to all the fishermen past and present.

Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.
